ANZWART is the solo project of Italian composer and producer Gian Luca Belluzzo. After collaborating with several bands, he began developing the project in 2017 as a personal exploration of electronic music, sound design and visual narration.

His work explores electronic music as an immersive and narrative medium, where sound functions as both structure and environment. His practice centres on the construction of layered sonic architectures, combining synthetic textures, electric guitar, minimal dynamics and evolving atmospheric tension.

Each composition unfolds as a perceptual space, where sound interacts with image, architecture and visual memory. His performances extend this audiovisual approach, integrating self-produced visuals into live sets to create a cohesive and immersive experience.

Alongside his recorded output, ANZWART has composed original soundtracks for international photographic exhibitions in collaboration with Magnum Photos. His work has contributed to exhibitions dedicated to artists such as Elliott Erwitt, Inge Morath, Robert Capa and Steve McCurry.

Over the years, he has performed as an opening act for Teho Teardo, Ninos du Brasil and Nova Materia, and his work has received attention from specialised media, with features on OndaRock and Rockit. His first EP was released by Black Stuff Records as a limited edition vinyl, followed by a record deal with the Italian label Isula Factory.
